There was another Mercury transit back in 2016. In this photo, Mercury is towards bottom left and near the center is a Sunspot. Diameter of Earth is about 2.5 times that of Mercury. So, in comparison to the Sun, Earth is just about the same size as that Sunspot. t.co/aPAyZbyBC…
